How do I apply for a rent to buy vehicle from Rentadeal?
  • Select the car of your choice from our “browse our fleet" page
  • Complete the application form and attach the necessary documents
  • Submit your enquiry and drive off within 12 hours

Do I need a valid driver's license to get a car from Rentadeal?
  • Yes, a valid driver's license is required

Can we make a plan if I am unable to pay the full deposit upfront?

The full deposit is required but can be paid off depending on risk profile. Contact us to discuss further. T's & C's apply.

Is my deposit refundable?

Not only is the deposit refundable; your deposit can earn up to 50% interest should you opt to purchase the vehicle.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my vehicle during the contract period?
  • Yes, if you have the vehicle for 12 months or longer, the vehicle can be upgraded/downgraded.

What happens if I return my vehicle before my contract ends?
  • We do have a contract cancellation fee. Should the vehicle be returned after 12 months of contract start date, the deposit refund will be proportional to the length of the contract.

What happens if I get a traffic fine during my rent to buy period?

All traffic fines and administration fees will be for your account and will be added to your monthly invoice.

Who is responsible for the maintenance of the vehicle?
  • Included in the deal is a maintenance plan through which the vehicle can be serviced by our preferred workshop or at any RMI registered service center.

What is the preferred payment method?
  • EFT, Debit/Credit Card or Debit orders will be accepted.

Does the deal include insurance?
  • Every vehicle comes with standard cover. However, more comprehensive options are available

Can anyone drive the Rentadeal vehicle?
  • No, but you are allowed to add additional drivers to your contract when required.

How many kms do I get per month?
  • The monthly rental includes 2500 kms free per month. Any additional kms will be charged at R1.50 per km.

Can I travel anywhere?
  • The vehicle is allowed to travel anywhere in SA, but it will not be allowed to exit the borders of SA

Can I qualify for a Rentadeal vehicle even if I live outside of the borders of the Western Cape province?
  • We currently only rent vehicles to people within the borders of the Western Cape.

Do I need to visit your offices anytime during the rent to buy period?
  • In order to keep vehicles maintained well, we prefer to do maintenance inspections every 6 months. For clients outside the borders of the Western Cape, we will make alternative arrangements to have the vehicle inspected at one of our professional business partners closest to you.

What happens if I have an accident with the vehicle?
  • Any accidents must be reported to our team immediately in order to proceed with and protect us and you against claims.
  • The accident procedure and contact details will be available on commencement of the deal.

What is included in the deal from Rentadeal?
  • Every deal includes a maintenance plan, 24/7 roadside assistance, free vehicle inspections every 6 months, free vehicle tracking and standard cover.
